To raise the widest possible awareness of the value of trees and their conservation needs through promotion and education
To ensure that scientific information on the conservation of tree species is readily available and regularly updated
To ensure that international policy fully supports the conservation of tree species
To support tree conservation initiatives in areas where most trees are at risk of extinction
To save the world's most endangered tree species through urgent action
