UNEP-WCMC Interactive Map Services
The World Heritage IMapS allows users to view information on the distribution of natural, cultural and mixed World Heritage Sites around the world. UNEP-WCMC holds both geographical and non-spatial information on each of the sites on the world heritage list and provides links through to further information held on the UNESCO Website.

Where available, UNEP-WCMC holds footprint (polygon) information on all Protected Areas. In the case of World Heritage Sites, all natural and nixed sites have footprint information, however, for cultural sites, only a location point is available.

We recommend you use the IMapS Online Tutorial to help you benefit from all the tools that are available within the World Heritage IMapS. A detailed help page is also available.
